I was wondering why this was such a scray story, then I remembered - its Stanley Kubrick's version of The Shining! It's Jack Nicholson screaming REDRUM out of the attic window and Shelley Duvall who is running for her life outside. The scene where Shelly's character is walking around the staff quarters and see the two persons through the open door looking at her is terrifying - the one in a grotesque animal costume and the other in a tuxedo like dress suit. They just stare and do nothing. Like the wonderly things that were seen on each of the strairs, the monkey with the head wound, etc. |
