The 1810 Draft Cover

Version 1 cover

The cover keeps the "Snow-White" theme from the 1812 book, and when the books are set on a shelf, the image of the blood drop will be visible in the spine. The next book, the 1815 Vol II of the KHM will complete the image when the book is placed to the right of 1812 Vol I.

Pros: Spines will match in the printed books.

Cons: The cover seems more powerfull, less distracting w/o the red drop behind it. The "Snow-White" theme is more obvious.

Version 2 cover

The cover keeps the "Snow-White" theme from the 1812 book, and when the books are set on a shelf, the image of the blood drop will be visible in the spine but backwards. The next book, the 1815 Vol II of the KHM will NOT match the image anymore when the book is placed to the right of 1812 Vol I.

Pros: Cover images remains clean and "powerful." "Snow-White" theme is persent.

Cons: Spines won't match at all.

Version 3 cover

The cover removes most of the "Snow-White" theme from the 1812 book. When the books are set on a shelf, the image of the blood drop will be visible in the spine. The next book, the 1815 Vol II of the KHM will complete the image when the book is placed to the right of 1812 Vol I.

Pros: Spines will almost match, cover image of the tailor remains "powerful" and "clean."

Cons: The "Snow-White" theme is much less obvious, it can even be said to be absent in this version, unless and until a reader has all 3 books.

Below is what the spines will look like when the books are placed on a shelf. Book 3 (1815 Vol II) will fit to the right of the first 2 books.
